Bandai Namco Partners with MSI for VR ZONE SHINJUKU Launch

Bandai Namco partners with MSI for the official launch of the VR ZONE SHINJUKU, Japan’s biggest virtual reality entertainment facility. This huge VR Gaming facility features the MSI VR One VR-ready gaming backpacks to offer the best VR gaming experience with is cable-free VR machine setup. The VR One backpacks will be used in the Ghost in the Shell: Arise Stealth Hounds game featuring a Team PVP field VR game.

The VR One gaming backpack is deemed to be one of the world’s best designed VR-ready portable gaming PC which is probably why it was chosen for the VR ZONE SHINJUKU. It packs powerful high-performance gaming hardware including an Intel Core i7 7700HQ processor and GeForce GTX 1070 graphics. It features hot-swappable batteries that provides wireless VR gaming of up to 1.5 hours. The VR One only weighs at 3.5 kilograms offering VR gamers a comfortable VR gaming experience. VR ZONE SHINJUKU


The VR ZONE SHINJUKU is the largest VR entertainment facility in Japan featuring an area of 3,500 square meters for VR gaming and activities. There will also be other fun activities that will not require wearing VR goggles. Hence, the facility offers an “out of this world” experience that will be enjoyed through the five senses using immersive virtual reality environments.

Ghost in the Shell: Arise Stealth Hounds


One of the VR gaming activities to be featured at VR ZONE SHINJUKU is the Ghost in the Shell: Arise Stealth Hounds which is a team PVP in a VR field. The VR activity will be played on 20 by 12 meter field area with an advanced multi-person full body tracking system. The game can accommodate up to 8 players maximum in a 4V4 mode. Gamers will be using the MSI VR One backpack for this VR activity.
