ASUS To Feature Qualcomm Modem-To-Antenna Solution on Smartphones and Notebooks

ASUS continues its strong partnership with Qualcomm Technologies and announces the integration of Qualcomm’s comprehensive Modem-to-Antenna solutions on its premium smartphone and “Always Connected” notebooks. Qualcomm technologies to be featured include the Qualcomm RF Front End (RFFE) modem-to-antenna solution and the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Mobile Platform with X20 Gigabit LTE modem.

Improved Overall Experience


The integration of these technologies offers system-level optimizations on the upcoming ASUS premium smartphones and notebooks to attain longer battery life and superior connectivity to support even faster data transfer speeds. The Qualcomm modem-to-antenna solution will greatly improve mobile computing experience on the next generation ASUS Always Connected Windows 10 notebooks. The advanced RFFE system will also prepare the OEMs for the launch of 5G devices by 2019.

Qualcomm’s comprehensive modem-to-antenna solutions will bring superior connection reliability, superior indoor/outdoor coverage, increased data speeds and world roaming capabilities while maintaining power efficiency. The Qualcomm RFFE modem-to-antenna solution can deliver connection speeds of up to 1.2 Gigabit per second with LTE. Qualcomm also offers the advanced RFFE solutions to its partners with the aim to bring easy and affordable connectivity to global mobile operators.
