Oculus has certified the ASUS ROG G752VS and G752VM gaming notebooks to be Oculus VR ready as announced at the Oculus Connect 3 Developer Conference at San Jose, California. Both gaming laptop models pack a powerful setup that meets the recommended specification necessary to support the Oculus Rift VR. Both the ASUS ROG G752VS and G752VM gaming notebooks pack the latest Intel Core processors, a powerful NVIDIA GeForce GTX 10-Series graphics card and up to 64GB of DDR4 memory that promises an energy efficient yet sufficient performance for virtual reality.

The collaboration between Oculus and ASUS aims to offer gamers a truly immersive gaming experience in VR. The ASUS ROG G752VS and G752VM gaming notebooks joins the other ASUS ROG Oculus Ready certified line up namely the ASUS G11CD and ROG G20CB gaming desktops. All the Oculus Ready certified PCs and notebooks underwent testing to ensure compatibility and stability with the Oculus Rift. The test included a 72-hour stress test and 17 rigorous reliability and performance tests along with repetitive swapping of hardware ports to ensure connectivity.
The ASUS ROG G752VS gaming notebook features a GTX 1070 graphics card and an unlocked Skylake 6th-gen Intel Core i7 processor with up to 64GB of DDR4 memory. The notebook also features a 120Hz display with wide 178° viewing angles. On the other hand, the ASUS ROG G752VM gaming notebook features a GTX 1060 graphics card, a 6th-gen Intel Core i7 processor and up to 64GB of DDR4 memory as well.
