ASUS ROG announces the new G701VI gaming laptop featuring the GeForce GTX 1080 graphics and an incredibly thin 32.5mm profile which is less than two thirds the thickness of the ROG G752 gaming laptop. The laptop features a new ROG Bio-Armor design and a new color theme – ROG Armor Titanium and Plasma Copper. The ROG G701VI is also deemed the world’s first gaming laptop that has a 120Hz wide-viewing-angle panel with G-SYNC technology enabled.
The ROG G701VI Gaming Laptop has a powerful specifications for gaming and VR performance. The G701VI packs an Intel Core i7 Skylake processor and up to 64GB of DDR4 memory at 2400Mhz along with the powerful GTX 1080 graphics. The ROG G701VI Gaming Laptop can also accommodate as much as three extension monitors thanks for the Trinity Display Technology the laptop has. The G701VI has an HDMI 2.0 port, USB 3.1 Type-C and mini DisplayPort for its triple-monitor setup.
The ROG G701VI is also equipped with an anti-ghosting keyboard with a 30-key rollover technology. This ensures that multiple keystrokes in-game commands are all correctly logged even with several keys pressed simultaneously. For audio, the G701VI Gaming Laptop features a built-in ESS Digital Analog Converter and amplifier to create quality audio for a richer sound-immersive gaming experience.
