The crazy time that is the autumn videogame release window is almost upon us, and no launch will be bigger than Activision's premier FPS franchise. Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4 is scheduled to be in the hands of players around the world from October 12th, but you might want to hold off on that pre-order button for just a few minutes. For you see, PC component manufacturer ASUS Republic of Gamers have a very special promotion that begins today.

ASUS Republic of Gamers and Activision have today announced a partnership which is twofold in its significance. The first may come as a surprise - the two have worked closely to integrate ASUS Aura Sync into the game, in essence creating a system of reactive RGB lighting that reflects in-game events. The second reflects this partnership by offering an exclusive game bundle of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 with eligible ROG purchases.

Dominate the Battle with AURA Sync integration into Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 for an enhanced gaming experience

ROG worked with Activision to incorporate customized AURA Sync capabilities and effects within Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 for PC to AURA Sync capable devices. AURA Sync coordinates colors and effects with compatible RGB-lit products like desktops, headsets, keyboards, motherboards, notebooks, and mice, among others, making it easy for users to personalize their entire gaming set up to a consistent look and feel that reflects their gaming persona or the feel of the game being played. With the AURA Sync integration within Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, actions within the game trigger the RGB light effects to enhance gameplay, reflecting the intensity of the game through the user’s PCs and components, creating a more immersive experience.

ASUS ROG are understandably excited by the partnership. Vivian Lien, Head of Global Marketing for Gaming at ROG and Chief Marketing Officer at ASUS North America, highlighted ASUS's own collaboration with eSports teams as a window into the development of triple-A multiplayer titles. Integrating ASUS Aura Sync lighting technology into Black Ops 4 seems like a logical next step given its near ubiquity across the ASUS component range.

Those who opt to buy eligible ASUS ROG hardware during the promotion period (Sept. 10th to Dec 31st) will receive access to the Digital Standard Edition, which is available to pre-purchase on Activision-Blizzard's Battle.net portal for £49.99. That's a very hefty bit of added value.

We'd like to have brought you concise list of eligible products and retailers here, but unfortunately they vary by region.
