ASUS introduces the ROG Strix Riser Cable (RS200) – a 240mm PCI-Express x16 premium riser cable for extended graphics card mounting. The ROG Strix Riser Cable features a 90-degree adapter for easy installation on vertical GPU mounting. It also features the ASUS patented SafeSlot design and EMI shielding. The ROG Strix Riser Cable comes in a slim, flat, and foldable design for easy cable management while the SafeSlot design helps maintain efficient and stable transmission to the parent PCIe slot. EMI Shielding is added to block interference and performance degradation. Lastly, the riser cable sports a black colour for stealth.

ASUS Patent SafeSlot PCI-E

The ASUS ROG Strix Riser Cable sports the same SafeSlot design found on ASUS motherboards which features a new manufacturing process that integrates fortifying metal and additional solder points. The ASUS SafeSlot design ensures a solid and stable connection with the graphics card installed having 1.8X shearing resistance and 1.5X stronger retention force compared to standard PCIe slots.

The ROG Strix Premium riser cable features a slim, flat and foldable design that allows you to mount and display your graphics card vertically and makes cable management easier. With a length of 240mm and compatible with the PCI-E x 16 3.0 standard, the riser cable features a high-frequency and low-resistance PCB design to reduce interference. The exterior has been covered with EMI shielding to completely block interference and performance degradation. Ideal for ROG Strix Helios and compatible cases.
