We're not expecting AMD's Ryzen 3000-series CPUs and their supporting 500-series motherboards for some time yet, but that isn't stopping a slow leak of information on the platform as a whole. Now revealed, via Videocardz.com are the set of ASUS and ASRock X570 motherboard models we can expect when the series launches in the not too distant future.

ASUS X570 Models:



That's without doubt a very broad range, and shows the continuing strength of Ryzen as a platform. Gamers, general enthusiasts and prosumers will all find at least one model that meets their needs; plus, we might see some models on the more affordable end of the spectrum with two PRIME series entrants.

ASRock X570 Models:



These model names come from a leak through the Eurasian Economic Commission's website, revealing a preliminary selection of model names ASRock will be selling boards under. Their new Phantom Gaming brand makes an appearance, plus the Tachi returns. Once again, pretty comprehensive for the high-end enthusiast chipset.

It's possible that this sudden release of information is related to last week's release of BIOS updates incorporating AMD's AGESA-Combo 0.0.7.x microcode. TechPowerUp has an excellent breakdown of some of the new, potentially Ryzen 3000-series/500-series platform exclusive features. Those aside, it's understood that X570 motherboards will be the first to support PCIe 4.0 and a new SOC developed in-house by AMD.

AMD's new platform is expected to be launched at Computex in June, so we all have plenty of time to wait before we see their novel new CPU first-hand.
