ASUS adds the Dual GeForce RTX 2080 EVO graphics card featuring the Axial-tech fans which used to be exclusive with the ROG-branded GeForce RTX 20 graphics cards such as the ROG Strix GeForce RTX 2080 Ti and 2080 Series, and ROG Strix RTX 2080 Ti OC COD: Black Ops 4 Edition. Used for the top-end ROG graphics cards, axial-tech fans feature an all-around design with IP5X dust resistance for longer lifespan and a barrier ring that increases downward air pressure for better heat dissipation. It also features the 0dB Technology wherein the axial-tech fans stop spinning when GPU core temperature is below 55°C to conserve power and reduce noise. The ASUS Dual GeForce RTX 2080 EVO also sports a sturdy aluminium backplate to prevent PCB flex and protect components.

Auto-Extreme Technology

The ASUS Dual GeForce RTX 2080 EVO is produced using Auto-Extreme Technology, an automated manufacturing process that sets new standards in the industry by allowing all soldering to be completed in a single pass. This reduces thermal strain on components and avoids the use of harsh cleaning chemicals, resulting in less environmental impact, lower manufacturing power consumption, and a more reliable product overall. The ASUS Dual GeForce RTX 2080 EVO also passes the 144-Hour Validation Program which certifies reliability and performance of the graphics card.
