Asetek, the leading creator of all-in-one liquid cooling systems for gaming PCs and DIY enthusiasts, introduces its latest generation of liquid cooling technology that will be used in the new EVGA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti K|NGP|N Hybrid Edition. The Asetek Gen6 (sixth generation) liquid cooling technologies deliver improved cooling capabilities that improved the overclocking potential of high-end GPUs like the Turing-based GeForce RTX 2080 Ti. The Asetek Gen6 cooling enables extreme overclocking performance while keeping operation noise at a minimum compared to air-cooling designs.

Asetek and EVGA worked hand-in-hand in developing the all-in-one hybrid cooler of the EVGA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti K|NGP|N Hybrid to create a plug-and-play solution that would effectively cool the Turing-based GPU. The Asetek hybrid cooler consists of a 240mm radiator that is 30mm thick to deliver excellent heat dissipation. The Hybrid cooler on EVGA 20-Series Hybrid graphics cards allows independent controlled VRM and radiator fans using the EVGA Precision X1 software offering users better fine-tuning with cooling.

The hybrid cooler on the RTX 2080 Ti K|NGP|N Hybrid features a Hydro Dynamic Bearing fan to cool the VRM and provide lower noise and a longer lifespan. The VRM and memory cooling is independent with a separate dedicated cooling for the GPU. This design delivers the best possible cooling for the GPU and efficient cooling for the VRM and VRAM. The hybrid cooler also gets a new fan blade design geared towards silence. The EVGA GeForce RTX 2080 Ti K|NGP|N Hybrid comes with an OLED screen that delivers real-time vital GPU status for easy monitoring and added aesthetics.

“The K|NGP|N is synonymous with bleeding-edge performance and extreme overclocking potential,” said Jacob Freeman, Global Product Management Director at EVGA. “For the first time ever on a K|NGP|N card, we are using a HYBRID solution with an Asetek Gen6 pump which enables the lowest temps on any K|NGP|N card to date.”

“With Asetek’s Gen6 liquid coolers powering EVGA’s new GeForce RTX 2080 Ti KINGPIN Hybrid GPU Cooler, gamers and DIY enthusiasts get it all – extreme performance combined with silent operation with plenty of room for overclocking,” said John Hamill, Chief Operating Officer at Asetek. “We’re thrilled to see EVGA expand its Asetek-based RTX 2080 Ti Hybrid Cooler series. High-end GPUs are often the most exciting component for gamers and this is the cream of the crop.”
