AMD launches the “Competitor Sweepstakes” promotion wherein you can trade the limited edition Intel Core i7-8086K processor acquired from Intel’s sweepstakes to the AMD Ryzen Threadripper 1950X processor. AMD will be giving away forty (40) of the Ryzen Threadripper 1950X 16-core, 32-thread processor to the first forty (40) eligible individuals. The AMD Competitor Prize Exchange promotion is offered only to the United States as of this writing.

Note, only the first 40 US-based winners of the Intel Core i7-8086K Sweepstakes which ended on June 8, 2018, can enter the AMD Competitor Sweepstakes to exchange their new-in-box prize processor into AMD’s flagship high-end desktop processor – the Ryzen Threadripper 1950X. To be eligible, the Intel Core i7-8086K prize must be unopened and in its original manufacturer’s packaging. AMD will be giving eligible individuals up to September 3, 2018, to exchange the limited-edition Intel processor.
