UK pricing for Ryzen 3000-series CPUs haven't been released yet, but this lineup might give you some indication of where they're likely to sit.
Although the entire range represents solid value for money, in our eyes the highlight has to be a Ryzen 7 2700 for less than £188.99. That's an 8-core CPU with a base clock of 3.1GHz boosting to 4.2GHz, and it's highly overclockable to boot. If that's not enough to tempt you, bear in mind that most of the listed CPUs should also qualify for the 3-month Xbox Game Pass for PC bundle promotion.
And as a reminder, with the exception of the Ryzen 3 2200G, each listed above CPU is fully compatible with X570 motherboards. If you're looking to invest in a new system based around X570 now, with a view to jumping on the 16-core Ryzen 9 3950X in September, then one of these processors would offer an inexpensive avenue for an stop-gap configuration that is still faster than the majority of systems around today. Alternatively, any might represent a huge slot-in upgrade over 1st or 2nd Gen budget/entry-level Ryzen CPUs and APUs for those otherwise happy with their system.
Retail pages for Ryzen 3000-series CPUs and Radeon RX 5700-series GPUs go live at 2pm on Sunday July 7th. Keep an eagle eye out for launch deals and other reductions that will complement your next build.
