AMD also featured the Radeon RX Vega56 Nano graphics card from partner PowerColor, a small-form-factor enthusiast-grade graphics card.

Samsung also announced support for AMD’s Radeon FreeSync technology in the new Samsung QLED 55-inch to 82-inch TV range, bringing the ultrawide 4K gaming into big screen TVs. Samsung is the first company to adapt the Radeon FreeSync adaptive refresh technology to deliver stutter-free gaming on a TV screen. Earlier this year, AMD also announced FreeSync technology in Microsoft’s Xbox One S and Xbox One X consoles in early March. With this, console gamers can enjoy smoother gaming experience with a FreeSync enabled Samsung QLED TV.

Server Updates

AMD also announced four EPYC processor milestones: immediate availability of EPYC processors through Tencent Cloud Services, a new HPE single-socket system, details of its first Cisco UCS server platform, and that the next generation 7nm EPYC processor, codenamed "Rome", will begin sampling in 2H 2018.
