Amsterdam, March 2017 – AOC presents the first 4K model of its AGON line of premium gaming monitors. The AOC AGON AG271UG boasts a 27" (68.6 cm) 4K IPS panel, which brings the latest games to life in highly detailed UHD graphics and accurate colours. In addition, the built-in NVIDIA G-SYNC module allows a super-smooth and responsive gaming experience by minimising screen tearing, display stuttering and input lag. The display’s strong performance is complemented by several premium features designed to protect gamers’ health and wellbeing: The AOC Ergo Dial Base offers ergonomic adjustment options and a height scale, whereas the AOC Flicker-Free technology prevents eyestrain during extended gaming sessions.
Smooth 4K images
Modern graphics cards and video game consoles are already capable of producing game graphics in 4K UHD resolution (3840 × 2160 pixels) at a smooth 60 frames per second. And also game developers are optimising their creations to shine in beautiful, highly detailed 4K visuals. With the AOC AGON AG271UG, AOC now presents a 16:9 display to do this powerful hardware and game designers’ visual artistry justice. With its 27" (68.6 cm) 4K IPS panel, the monitor offers an impressive pixel density, which lets game worlds truly shine in rich detail. To make them look even better, the IPS technology allows for highly accurate colours, which can be marvelled at from almost every angle (viewing angles of up to 178°). And NVIDIA G-SYNC lets gamers enjoy these supreme visuals to their fullest even in fast-paced scenes. The G-SYNC module built into the AG271UG synchronises the display refresh rates to the GPU of compatible NVIDIA graphics cards in order to eliminate screen tearing and minimise display stuttering as well as input lag. The result is super-smooth 4K graphics and responsive gameplay without annoying distractions, which empowers esports contestants to peform even better.
Alfonso Clemente, Product Manager AOC Europe: “Our new AGON 4K monitor offers the latest panel technology to hardcore gamers who want the best possible picture quality, combined with NVIDIA’s trustworthy G-SYNC technology for a flawless synchronization with their graphic cards, even on the most demanding and graphic-intensive games”.
