First seen at the CES 2018 as ADATA’s “Jellyfish DRAM”, ADATA officially releases the names it the SPECTRIX D80 DDR4 RGB memory featuring a hybrid liquid-air cooling system which is also the first of its kind. The XPG SPECTRIX D80 uses a combination of an aluminium heatsink, thermally conductive materials and integration of a self-contained liquid cooling system to deliver outstanding comprehensive cooling capabilities. With that, extreme performance can be achieved enabling the SPECTRIX D80 to offer a wide frequency range from 2666MHz to 5000MHz.

Hybrid Liquid-Air Cooling
The SPECTRIX D80 sports a self-contained maintenance-free liquid heatsink with non-conductive fluid with a low boiling point to dissipate heat efficiently. The liquid cooling component works hand in hand with the aluminium heatsink and thermally conductive materials on the PCB to deliver comprehensive cooling. The SPECTRIX D80 also packs programmable RGB lighting that gives a captivating and unique illumination through the liquid. Users can use the XPG RGB SYNC App Beta for customized lighting effects or synchronize it through popular motherboard-based RGB sync and control software including ASUS Aura Sync, MSI Mystic Light Sync, GIGABYTE RGB FUSION, and ASRock RGB LED applications.
Overclocking Performance, Solid Dependability
The XPG SPECTRIX D80 is built for gamers, enthusiasts, and overclockers offering a wide frequency range from 2666 MHz to 5000 MHz with support for Intel X299 2666 MHz and AMD AM4/Ryzen platforms. The SPECTRIX D80 also supports Intel XMP 2.0 profiles allow for quick and easy overclocking through the BIOS. To achieve superb stability and performance, ADATA uses high-quality NAND the passes through a meticulous selection process. It also packs a 10-layer PCB for enhanced signalling quality and stability that’s consistent even when running at high speeds or under heavy loads.
