Acer Predator Triton 700 and Helios 300 Gaming Notebook Series Launched

Acer showcased a lot of their new and upcoming products at the next@acer global press conference that took place in New York. Acer expands its gaming notebook line with the introduction of the Acer Predator Helios 300 and Triton 700 gaming notebook series. Both feature the latest generation high-performance hardware at a very competitive price points. Let’s take a look at Acer’s new gaming notebook offerings below.

Acer Triton 700 – Thin and Powerful without Compromise


The Triton 700’s backbone is built from the highly acclaimed Predator 21X Curved Gaming Notebook. It too packs Acer’s best and latest technologies but in a thin but durable aluminium chassis. The Triton 700 packs a 15.6-inch FHD IPS NVIDIA G-Sync-ready display that’s powered by the latest and VR-ready GeForce GTX 10-Series graphics cards along with a powerful 7th generation Intel Core processor and up to 32GB of DDR4-2400MHz memory. For fast boot up times and application loading times, the Triton 700 is equipped with the latest NVMe PCIe SSD and for connectivity, the swift Intel Thunderbolt 3 will do that job for you.

All these high-performance hardware above are housed in thin aluminium chassis that’s only 18.9mm thick and weighs at a mere 2.6kgs. The Triton 700 features a mechanical keyboard and PredatorSense software that offers macros and essential gaming functions. The Acer Predator Triton 700 gaming notebook will be available in North America in August starting at $2,999; and in the Europe, Middle East and Africa regions in August starting at €3,399.


Acer Predator Helios 300 – Powerful and Flexible


The Helios 300 series are available in 15.6-inch or 17.3-inch FHD IPS display which can either be powered by the NVIDIA GTX 1050Ti or GTX 1060 graphics card. The Predator Helios 300 can pack either a 7th generation Intel i5 7300HQ processor or a more powerful Intel i7 7770HQ processors with 16GB of DDR4 memory, upgradeable up to 32GB. Boot drive options can either be a 1TB SSD or 1TB HDD. For speedy connection with other devices, the Helios 300 packs a USB 3.1 USB type-C port with full USB charging capabilities.

The Acer Predator Helios 300 gaming notebooks with a 15.6-inch display will be available in North America in July starting at $1,299; in Europe, Middle East and Africa regions in August starting at €1,199; and in China in June starting at ¥9,999.
